Around 3 months ago, a German journalist started insistently to ask a Brazilian journalist (that sent the message to the responsible for the Wcams site), for a photo of the "biggest tree of peace in the world", that he knew it existed in Porto Alegre; it was only few days ago that we realized... that a 35-meter artificial tree, with a dove on its top, was raised in the Moinhos de Vento Park on the Christmas time of 2001. In fact, Wcams has recorded images of the tree that, now, in spite of being just a remembrance, has become highly significant, and certainly it will travel throughout the world to spread the message that it is necessary to build more peace, for the men of good will.
